We are excited to announce the inaugural Walmart Supplier Diversity Spark Tank event! We invite you to be a part of this unique event, which is an opportunity for Diverse Suppliers to present an innovative, future technology product or service that will benefit the Walmart business model, retail operations, associates or customers. We are looking for future innovative solutions that we can possibly implement in our three to five year technology roadmap.
If you are interested in participating, please review the submission requirements below. All materials must be submitted no later than Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 by email to supplierdiversity@wal-mart.com. The Walmart ISD Vendor Management Office and the ISD Innovations team will review each submission and contact those who have been selected to advance to the next phase of the Spark Tank process.
Submission Requirements
You must include the following information for the Supplier Diversity Spark Tank.
Technology description: Develop a description of the technology product you plan to present by explaining what is the technology, functionality and backend structure.
Key Takeaway: Submit the key takeaways of technology along with why this is beneficial for Walmart.
Presentation: Provide a presentation of the roadmap/development maturity of this technology and how you plan or see this technology evolving in the next 5-10 years.
