Richard G. Ketchum

Executive Chairman of Board of Governors and Chief Executive Officer, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc.

     Mr. Richard G. Ketchum served as an Executive of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Mr. Ketchum has been Chief Executive Officer of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. since March 2009 and has been its Executive Chairman of Board of Governors since 2007. Mr. Ketchum served as an Executive Officer of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Ketchum served as Chief Executive Officer of NYSE Regulation, Inc. from 2006 to March 2009. He served as the Chief Legal Officer of Global Investment Banking Unit of Citigroup, Inc. from June 2003 to March 2004 and served as its General Counsel of the Corporate and Investment Bank from June 2003 to March 2004. Mr. Ketchum served as Chief Regulatory Officer of New York Stock Exchange Inc. and NYSE Euronext, Inc. since March 8, 2004. He spent 12 years at the National Association of Securities Dealers Inc., (NASD) and NASDAQ. He served as President of NASDAQ OMX Group Inc. for three years from July 2000 to June 17 2003 and also as President of NASD for seven years since 1998. Mr. Ketchum served as the Chief Operating Officer of the NASD since 1993 and its Executive Vice President since 1991. Prior to working at the NASD and Nasdaq, he was at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for 14 years, eight of those years as Director of the Division of Market Regulation. Mr. Ketchum served as Deputy Chairman of NASDAQ OMX Group Inc. from May 12, 2003 to June 17 2003. He serves as a Director of NYSE Regulation Inc. at NYSE Euronext, Inc. He serves as a Director of Appleseed. He served as a Director of NASDAQ Stock Market Inc.'s Board since September 2001. He served as a Director of Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. from September 2001 to June 17 2003. He is a Member of the bar in both New York and the District of Columbia. Mr. Ketchum earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1975 and his B.A. from Tufts University in 1972.
