Walmart impacting local communities and recognized at Green Hope High football game

"We consider it our responsibility to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. One community at a time." stated Greg Blackwell, Walmart Supercenter, General Manager store #4250, Morrisville, NC.

On 8/30 between the first and second quarter of the Green Hope High school vs Sanderson varsity football game held at Green Hope High, Walmart General Manager Greg Blackwell store #4250, Morrisville, NC was recognized and presented a plaque by the Green Hope Athletic Director and Green Hope Booster Director, for their generous donation to the Green Hope Football program. 

"We wanted to make sure that Walmart was recognized for this generous donation" stated Athletic Director Wayne Bragg. "It is through donations like these that local athletic programs like ours can provide the best equipment and facilities for our student athletes to compete at the highest levels".

 "Fundraising is an essential element to support the efforts of Coaches and Student Athletes.  With donations from our parents and businesses we can generate the resources needed to provide a safe and enriching experience for everyone." stated Joel Goldstein, President of the Green Hope Football Association.
