@SHRM 2012 Diversity and Inclusion Conference - Oct 22 - 24 Chicago - Making the D & I Connection

The Annual SHRM Diversity and Inclusion Conference and Exposition is taking place October 22-24 in Chicago, Illinois. Society for Human Resource Management, or SHRM, is the world’s largest organization committed to the human resource profession.  SHRM, formally known as the American Society for Personnel Administration (ASPA), was founded in 1948 by a group of 28 with the goal of creating a “national organization that could represent the personnel profession”. From those humble beginnings the organization has now swelled to over 250,000 members in over 140 countries. Today, SHRM hosts a number of annual conferences, including the Diversity and Inclusion Conference and Exposition, each of which are targeted to a different aspect of the human resource industry.  In addition to the annual conferences, SHRM advocates and lobbies for the human resource profession while providing education, networking, and certification to its members.
