Ford Foundation Talent Acquisition Associate


SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

 

The Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for managing entry-level recruitment, the annual summer internship program, special projects and providing support to the Talent Acquisition function. The role will also be the super user for the applicant tracking system. She or he will  interact with a wide range of employees at all levels as well as external candidates seeking opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry-level staff, and summer internship program
  • Serve as administrator for applicant tracking system (Workday), the system of record for all recruitment related activity
  • Manage summer internship program recruitment initiative, which includes managing position postings, attending career fairs, establishing a pipeline with student career development networks and partnering with hiring managers to establish intern need and position descriptions. 
  • Coordinates complex interview scheduling including one-on-one, panel interviews, and video conference interviews, often working with multiple time zones and regional offices
  • Prepare annual Talent Acquisition metrics report 
  • Support Talent Acquisition team with a wide range of miscellaneous projects including reports and presentations
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external parties including temporary agencies, search firms, and other vendors 
  • Answers telephone and email inquiries from applicants and general public, providing information on current or possible future job openings, application procedures and application status

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS plus 3 years of Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent demonstrated proficiency in the use of office computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing online information resources
  • Effective oral and written communications; ability to maintain confidentiality and the ability to handle communications tactfully and professionally with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, handle multiple tasks and function independently
  • Ability to work in diverse teams with shared responsibility and accountability
  • Experience using Workday recruiting module or other applicant tracking system strongly preferred
